Teaching
My background
I have studied Jazz singing at the music university Lucerne with two diplomas in both pedagogy and performance. After that I have gained a vast insight into South Indian music and rhythm during 18 months of learning under the gurus R.A. Ramamani and T.A.S. Mani in Bangalore. Since then I have taken several further educational trips to study with Bernard Woma in Ghana, Médéric Collignon in Paris and Steve Coleman in New York.
I have been teaching for four years the bachelor degree vocal department of the jazz school in Dublin as well as their Berklee Track that started in 2011 (newparkmusic.ie). 2015-2018 I have been a singing teacher at the pop/rock/jazz department of the MKZ Zurich and since autumn 2016 at the WIAM, Winterthur, at the bachelor degree vocal department.
In June 2015, I have finished the 3-year-diploma course at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen and am an Authorised CVT Teacher.
I have done workshops and taught a.o. at the University of Lucerne and the University of Zurich and am teaching at the vocal department of the University of Lucerne (HSLU) since September 2018..
