August 2010: Received a travel and training award from the Arts Council Ireland to study in Paris under Médéric Collignon for one month and to compose a choral piece.
July 2010: Studied for one month with Steve Coleman (www.mbase.com) in New York City.
July 2010: Participated (active and passiv) in the IRSA (International Rhythmical Studies Association) Dublin.
August 2009: Commissioned to write a Konnakol piece for the `Jazzchor Freiburg` (Germany) (www.jazzchorfreiburg.de).
September 2008: Became the head of the vocal department at the Newpark Music Center in Dublin, Ireland.
March 2008-August 2008: Studied Carnatic Classical Music & Konnakkol with Smt. R.A. Ramamani & Vid. T.A.S. Mani in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
July 2007: Received degrees in both Pedagogy and Performance (Jazz school Lucerne) attaining distinctions in each.
October 2005-October 2006: Studied Carnatic Classical Music & Konnakkol with Smt. R.A. Ramamani & Vid. T.A.S. Mani in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
2002-2007: Studied Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Music (Jazz School) Lucerne, (Switzerland) with Lauren Newton, Susanne Abbuehl and Bruno Amstad.
2000-2002: Studied school music and choir conducting at the Music Academy Lucerne (MHSL).
2001: Conducted various projects with choirs and completed a choir conducting course achieving a certificate from MHSL.
2000: Graduated from high school with an award for her musical composition ‘The Four Elements’.
As a child learned to play the violin, the piano, singing and later the electric guitar.
